The bulk of my experience has been focused on treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder with veterans and other helping professionals. I have worked in a post-secondary setting and in Private Practice helping individuals manage anxiety and depression related to life transitions, family dynamics and peer relationships, academic issues, social anxiety, procrastination, low motivation, stress/burnout, parenting concerns, end-of-life transition, spiritual concerns, ADHD, low self-esteem, developmental trauma, and more.
I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology and a Honours Certificate in Sociology. My background has provided me with a unique outlook on how societal and cultural aspects of our identities influence how we experience the world- and find our place within it.
My aim is to use this platform to offer my therapeutic services; combine the knowledge gained from my educational and personal experience; and share it with those it may resonate with in an honest and heartfelt way.
